This sounds like Prince would if he were still making good music. Oh wait… Actually it will probably sound like silence because Prince hates the internet and the other copies on youtube are already muted.

Apparently Wiz Khalifa has just sampled this and lots of people on Youtube are angry. Apparently the official video audio is at 1.5x speed, which is a bit weird. /research

One of a couple of groups who have suddenly got huge without doing anything particularly different. Does that mean it was a weak year? This doesn’t sound like the future, but it’s still very good.

Again, not 100% sold on Sam Smith, but love the production on this one.

Not really sold on Mr Genius previously, and the track in all the 2014 lists (“Queen”) doesn’t do much for me either. This, however, is incredible. Why didn’t I put it higher?
