The best thing about being so far away from the UK is that I don’t have to occupy my brain with the tiresome cultural phenomena that make up about 50% of the conversations I have there. While I was in Prague in 2002-2004 I managed to miss out on Little Britain, Abi Titmuss, Busted, The Libertines, Robert Kilroy-Silk’s political career, Fathers4Justice and The Osbournes.
On my return John Peel died, the crazy frog went straight in at number one and somebody gave James Blunt a recording contract. Not a great year.
It’s been about seven months since I last stepped on English soil.
Please tell me what have I missed this time, so far.
ummm, noel edmund’s comeback?
Surely not?
yeah he hosts deal or no deal which has taken over countdown’s slot on channel 4. i don’t understand the concept of it but it’s really popular.
chris evans also tried to make a comeback but it failed spectacularly although he did present the brits again this year.
More and more no-mark no-talent nonebrities famous for not being famous on telly presenting shows on talentless, ugly, deluded members of the public who get taken to the bosom of the public for being salt-of-the-earth, talentless, ugly deluded members of the public and then go on to present tv shows…….ad nauseinfinitum.
The cunts (CUNTS).
